I'm a photographer with a heart for storytelling and a quiet love for the poetic moments tucked between the big ones. My work is deeply rooted in emotion, light and connection - inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of Scotland, the stillness of nature and the way memory blurs into feeling.
Photography, for me, is a form of artful remembering - a way to preserve not just how it looked but how it felt. The wind in your hair, the comfort of a familiar touch, the joy that sits softly in silence. It's about presence over perfection - honest and heartfelt.

"The tale of our Glencoe elopement just simply wouldn't have been the magical story it was without Joni being the creative force to help us tell it.
My husband and I travelled from California to Scotland to celebrate a sort of joint elopement/honeymoon together. We wanted to read our vows to each other in a beautiful and private setting, and the romantic and wild beauty of Glencoe set the perfect scene.
We connected ahead of time with Joni to talk details and locations and were thoroughly impressed by her approach and thoughtful questionnaire. It helped us be transparent with our comfort levels and goals we had for the day!
Joni went and scouted locations a week or so before and sent us pictures and videos to help us visualise our day (but truth be told, I was going to trust her judgement no matter what!)
We experienced some rain on our big day, but Joni and her husband Josh were patient and commited to finding creative solutions to ensure the success of the day.
Hand-cut flowers, a local bakery's raspberry and lemon poppyseed cake, film cameras, rain ponchos and backseat candy bars - there was no detail Joni and Josh left untouched by their thoughtfulness.
We laughed and worked together to fit all of our hopes into the mere four hours we had together (but we could have easily spent more time with the two of them!)
What a pleasure that our paths got to cross for the time it did. The keepsakes we have will be cherished by my husband and I for a very long time."
